sunsets of nornalup.....

Hi guys!
Living in such a gorgeous environment for my entire life I have been blessed by these beautiful sunsets that have all been captured of my front veranda at home. Last Wednesday I captured this amazing sunset lowering behind the forest, and what a gem it was. How I love my home!! : D

flowers......

Hi Guys!

Been a little while since my last post I know....and we are coming to the end of another holidays. I officially have 4 weeks of revision left until my WACE exams so I'm very excited but nervous at the same time, fingers crossed I will do fine :) Now back to photography, while travelling up and down to Mandurah a few times this holiday staying with my grandparents, i came across a beautiful array of different types of flowers in my Nanna's garden. (Nanna's always have the prettiest gardens) I took alot of close in shots to capture the individual features and structure of each flower.

Enjoy having a lookie....

portraits....

Well when capturing scenes I prefer to capture landscape and panoramas...but I thought as my sister had her school photos today i would try some portraits of my own......so here is a couple images of my beautiful sister Tayla, with backdrops consisting of inside and outside of the house.

I had a great time having a photoshoot with my sister and i hope you enjoy viewing them...

hush-hush, little long point & peaceful bay

hi guys! well another weekend was spend out in the walpole wilderness! this past sunday we packed up the bbq, snaggas, fishing roads and camera and headed out to west of walpole to hush-hush and little long point. dad was hoping to get his line wet at hush-hush, but were disappointed to find no beach and a MASSIVE swell. with a bit more luck we travelled about one km further up the track to find little long point....which i had never been to in my whole 17 years. Well what a gorgeous spot! plenty of beach, sun and soooo many photo opportunities.

i have also included some images taken down peaceful bay one late afternoon. cheers mikaela

Mandalay Beach.....

Set on the great southern coast...is Mandalay Beach, approximately 20km west of Walpole WA. Fortunately the family i set out here on Sunday, and what a beautiful day it was. Mandalay Beach is named after the ship 'Mandalay', which was shipwrecked in 1911, and still appears every few years on a low tide. Unfortunately this wasn't seen on my trip, but was still extremely worth while to spend time trooping up and down this pristine coast! In some of my pictures below, you will notice a large island called Chatham, this is known to be home of many seals....You will also see the changing in the weather and cloud formations of a typical august day in Walpole...

Hope you enjoy viewing the place I like to call home....

july holidays at bremer bay...

During the past holidays my family and I were fortunate enough to score some lovely weather in our 'home away from home' town called Bremer Bay. There are a numerous amount of pristine beaches, aqua blue waters, national parks and soft blue and white swept skys to phototgraph, not to mention the whales!! Hope you enjoy these images as much as I did taking and editing them.

Cheers Mikaela
